Description of Role and Practice

We are looking for experienced Guidewire InsuranceSuite architect or senior developer to help leading insurance companies to shape their digital strategy and business transformation and help them on their journey to grow their business and stay relevant for their customers. As part of the team, you will be working for some of the biggest financial institutions in the Nordics with a variety of project opportunities such as business transformation, digitalization, data and analytics and process design.

Key responsibilities

• Thorough understanding of Guidewire products with strong skill set in Policy Center and Claim Center.
• Understanding of the insurance business, ability to talk to business analysts and SMEs in order to translate business requirements into system changes
• Ability to guide business experts in the design of business requirements, and analyze how well business needs fit to the out-of-the-box, and where customization would be needed
• Ability to assess implementation feasibility and complexity based on high-level business requirements
• Work with development teams so that proper patterns/practices are used to deliver software solutions.
• Knowledge in configuration and coding using Guidewire tools and accelerators, Guidewire Batch, and Guidewire predefined plugins.
• Assess Technical Debt and Priorities with the development teams and leads to make sure the solutions that are built are sustainable and are production ready

Qualifications

• We are accepting only candidates resident in Finland or in other Nordic countries
• 5+ years hands-on experience with Guidewire applications PC and CC
• Experience and is certified in the Guidewire products being implemented
• Experience of large-scale insurance business transformations
• Guidewire ACE Certifications is preferred
