Job Summary
This role is responsible for creating web applications, programs and software processes to support business operations. The role is responsible for supporting the design, development, installation, testing, upgrades and customer support. The role leverages technology to solve business problems by participating in all phases of the development process, from inception through transition. The role takes directions from senior engineers with regards to best practices within the software engineering function.

Responsibilities

  • Review all sources of product quality data to identify top issues related to Customer Experience.
  • Identify missing data sources or data quality issues.
  • Provide data support for cross-functional teams to identify & characterize LaserJet quality issues
  • Proactively identify data trends or potential problems and help influence positive business decisions
  • Timely reporting of quality issues, trends, and opportunities
  • Designs, codes, and debugs applications in various software languages.
  • Assists in the design and implementation of software products.
  • Develops and maintains application design, program specification documents, and proprietary web applications.
  • Conducts a wide range of tests and analyses to ensure hardware and/or software meets or exceeds standards and end-user requirements.
  • Participates in a collaborative team supporting current applications, as well as future technology platforms that touch every part of business.
  • Helps in customer support, technical need analysis, interface programming and testing.
  • Supports priority projects with direction, maintaining relationships with internal stakeholders and sharing information via standardized reports.
  • Troubleshoots incidents, identifies root cause, documents problems, and implements preventative measures.
  • Reports daily project status at team meetings and documents all code changes in issue tracking system.
  • Stays updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices. Proposes innovative ideas and solutions to enhance existing products or develop new ones.


Education & Experience Recommended

  • Four-year Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.
  • Typically has 0-2 years of work experience, preferably in software designing & development, software architecture, programming languages, or a related field.

The base pay range for this role is $61,200 to $116,300 annually with additional opportunities for pay in the form of bonus and/or equity (applies to US candidates only).  Pay varies by work location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
