Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves collaborating closely with stakeholders to understand and clarify business needs, then translating those needs into detailed application designs. The role includes working on defining precise requirements and contributing to the architectural planning of software solutions. Throughout the day, there is a focus on ensuring that the applications developed align well with the intended business processes, while also engaging in discussions to refine and improve the overall design approach. This position requires a thoughtful balance of analysis, creativity, and communication to support the successful delivery of tailored software applications.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze business requirements.
- Assist in the creation and review of technical documentation to support application development.
- Support junior team members by sharing knowledge and providing guidance on project tasks.
- Engage in continuous learning to stay updated with emerging technologies and best practices.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving software quality and performance.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Kronos.
- Strong understanding of software development life cycle and application design principles.
- Experience with requirement analysis and translating business needs into technical specifications.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve software issues effectively.
- Familiarity with integration of applications within enterprise environments.
- Good communication skills to collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Kronos.
- This position is based at our Gurugram office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
