A Salesforce Senior Solution Architect is a trusted advisor and leader who partners with business stakeholders and executives to design a vision and architecture that meet the long term business needs of our clients. They translate business needs to Salesforce solution vision that teams of low code or pro code builders can execute on. This role requires extensive experience in Salesforce architecture, as well as a deep understanding of business processes and technical solutions.

The Senior Solution Architect will have the primary responsibility for leading our strategic Solution Delivery opportunities, lending their expertise to the delivery of best in class Salesforce implementations that are performant & scalable in the long run. An individual filling this role will provide thought leadership and hands on consultation throughout the life cycle of this transformation journey. This resource will participate in Plan, Architect and Design activities and guide the subsequent implementation of Salesforce.

They will serve as the primary bridge among business Subject Matter Experts , the Build & QA teams and the Project Management Office. It is imperative that they build valuable relationships both internally and externally in order to become recognised as a trusted Business Transformation Expert.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of the company's business processes and how Salesforce can support them in delivering business value faster.
  • Develop strong client relationships by building trust, rapport and positive working relationships with key sponsors, stakeholders, and team members.
  • Lead requirement gathering workshops, business process design and sessions around long term roadmap planning, business value articulation etc.
  • Lead architectural discussions and influence key decision-makers on the best practices for Salesforce integration with other systems and platforms.
  • Work with internal and customer stakeholders to create prototypes, proof of concepts and wireframes to define and articulate business requirements
  • Deliver design blue prints, detailed solution design and help the development team build the solution in alignment with the business requirements
  • Validate solution components, lead customer walkthroughs/demos and provide guidance to the project manager for key issues/risks to the project
  • Manage discussions with various levels of customer’s business stakeholders highlighting trade-offs among multiple solution approaches
  • Identify and help build services offerings to support rapid time to value for Salesforce implementations
  • Where required, support deep-dive pre-sales activity to position successful delivery of customer solutions
  • Maintain a target billable utilisation aligned to the role
  • Stay current with Salesforce developments and trends, applying best practices to enhance solutions.
  • Ensure all Salesforce implementations comply with organisational standards, security protocols, and data privacy regulations.

Requirements

  • 12+ years CRM experience with a minimum of 7 years in Salesforce architecture and solution design.
  • Proven experience with large-scale Salesforce implementations, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, and other Salesforce products.
  • Expert level understanding of the Salesforce product suite, including any two of the following: Sales, Service, Experience and Marketing Clouds
  • Experience in leading workshops to define and prioritise client requirements and required Capabilities. Ability to ask difficult/courageous questions during workshops and suggest best practices and efficient ways of implementing business processes
  • Proven ability to design and optimise business processes and to integrate business processes across disparate systems.
  • Ability to demonstrate concepts visually and in writing as the situation demands to guide stakeholders in thinking through all aspects of the ask
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Detail-oriented individual with the ability to rapidly learn and take advantage of new concepts, business models, and technologies.
  • Preferred with Salesforce certifications / domain badges (Declarative App Designer and/or Sharing & Visibility)

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Business or a related field

  • Certified Scrum Master / Certified Product Owner
