We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Associate Manager – Application Support Engineering with expertise in Teradata BI to join our Data Operations & Reporting team. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of data warehousing concepts, hands-on experience in triaging issues in Teradata BI, and a proven track record in observability, incident, problem, and change management. Experience with Informatica Power Center or any other ETL technology is a plus. This role requires large team handling experience, excellent communication skills, and familiarity with JIRA for managing workflows and tracking issues. Roles & Responsibilities: • Lead and manage a large team of application support engineers, ensuring smooth operations and adherence to SLAs. • Oversee data operations, ensuring system observability and efficient issue triaging. • Drive incident management, problem management, and change management processes to maintain system stability and performance. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve data-related issues promptly. • Maintain and optimize data warehousing solutions using Teradata BI. • Monitor and enhance system observability to proactively identify and address potential issues. • Perform root cause analysis (RCA) for recurring issues and implement preventive measures. • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to team members, ensuring best practices in data operations and management. • Utilize JIRA for issue tracking, workflow management, and reporting. Professional & Technical Skills: -Must To Have Skills: Expertise in Teradata BI Large team handling and leadership experience Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills Knowledge of JIRA for workflow and issue tracking -Good To Have Skills: Experience in Informatica Power Center, Power BI, GCP - Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts. - Experience in ETL processes. - Knowledge of SQL. - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet project deadlines. Additional Information: - Minimum 8 years of experience, with at least 6 years in Teradata BI and 2+ years in leadership roles. -Educational Qualification: Minimum 16 years of full-time education in Computer Science or related field. -Proven track record of delivering impactful solutions and managing large teams in a fast-paced environment. - This position is based at our Mumbai and/or Bengaluru office
