The Vice President will be a part of Focus' Partnerships team, and will play a pivotal role in driving growth and operational excellence for our partner firms. This position offers a unique opportunity to work at the forefront of the rapidly evolving RIA sector, leveraging your strategic and analytical skills to help shape the future of wealth management.
Primary Responsibilities
• Serve as a relationship manager to Focus partner firms, in a team-based delivery model
• Work directly with Focus firms ($500M - $100B+ in AUM) on initiatives to drive growth, improve business efficiency, and improve sustainability
• Understand firm capabilities, P&Ls, and economic models to balance bottom-line impact / investments for growth
• Deliver clear and concise recommendations to Focus firms and be able to drive a case for change
• Drive multiple strategic initiatives at a time and ability to prioritize workstreams based on urgency and potential for impact
• Be a part of the most significant business transformation in the history of the RIA sector, through a unique lens at the intersection of strategy and execution for Focus partner firms
Qualifications
• 6-8 plus years of combined experience working in wealth management and / or consulting
• A strong desire to develop a framework and solutions to strategic issues at a wide range of small- to mid-size wealth management firms
• Understanding and knowledge of the RIA marketplace, competitive set, economic model and internal workings of an RIA a plus
• Experience managing a client facing team with financial targets a plus
• Prior practice management or strategy consulting experience a plus
• Understanding of wealth management technology / vendor ecosystem a plus
• Demonstrated leadership and ability to be a self-starter

The annualized base pay range for this role is expected to be between $150,000 - $200,000. Actual base pay could vary based on factors including but not limited to experience, subject matter expertise, geographic location where work will be performed and the applicant's skill set. The base pay is just one component of the total compensation package for employees. Other reward may include an annual cash bonus and a comprehensive benefits package.
