Project Role Description : Leads a team of quality engineers through multi-disciplinary team planning and ecosystem integration to accelerate delivery and drive quality across the application lifecycle. Applies business and functional knowledge to develop end-to-end testing strategies through the use of quality processes and methodologies. Applies testing methodologies, principles and processes to define and implement key metrics to manage and assess the testing process including test execution and defect resolution.

Summary: As a Quality Engineering Lead, you will oversee a dedicated team of quality engineers, guiding them through the complexities of multi-disciplinary team planning and ecosystem integration. Your typical day will involve collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure the seamless delivery of high-quality applications. You will leverage your expertise to develop comprehensive testing strategies, applying established quality processes and methodologies. By focusing on end-to-end testing, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the overall quality of the application lifecycle, ensuring that all deliverables meet the highest standards of excellence. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to perform independently and become an SME. - Required active participation/contribution in team discussions. - Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems. - Facilitate knowledge sharing sessions to enhance team capabilities. - Monitor and report on testing progress and quality metrics to stakeholders. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Functional Test Planning. - Good To Have Skills: Experience with automated testing tools. - Strong understanding of software development life cycle and testing methodologies. - Ability to design and implement test cases based on functional specifications. - Experience in defect tracking and management tools. Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Functional Test Planning. - This position is based at our Kolkata office. - A 15 years full time education is required.
