Summary: As an Application Developer, you will design, build, and configure applications to meet business process and application requirements. You will be responsible for developing and implementing software solutions using Oracle Procedural Language Extensions to SQL (PLSQL). Your typical day will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams, analyzing user requirements, designing application architecture, writing efficient code, and conducting unit testing to ensure the quality and functionality of the applications. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to perform independently and become an SME. - Required active participation/contribution in team discussions. - Contribute in providing solutions to work-related problems. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze user requirements. - Design and develop software solutions using Oracle Procedural Language Extensions to SQL (PLSQL). - Write efficient and optimized code to implement application features and functionality. - Conduct unit testing to ensure the quality and functionality of the applications. - Troubleshoot and debug issues in the applications and provide timely resolutions. - Participate in code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Oracle Procedural Language Extensions to SQL (PLSQL). - Strong understanding of database concepts and SQL. - Experience in performance tuning and optimization of PLSQL code. - Knowledge of software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies. - Good To Have Skills: Experience with Oracle Database and SQL*Plus. - Familiarity with version control systems such as Git or SVN. Additional Information: - The candidate should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in Oracle Procedural Language Extensions to SQL (PLSQL). - This position is based at our Bengaluru office. - A minimum of 15 years of full-time education is required.
