Job Purpose
This position is responsible for filling open job requisitions within the company. This role will be responsible for reviewing and selecting candidates to fill those requisitions, while working alongside the Talent Office to ensure a smooth employee hiring and onboarding process.

Description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to

• Manage the day-to-day candidate engagement processes of assigned areas.
• Daily review and analysis of job candidates.
• Schedule and conduct interviews in accordance with company guidelines, local, federal and state laws.
• Exercise discretion and independent judgement when extending conditional job offers to candidates that meet company standards.
• Constantly review hires in progress to ensure fluidity of process, auditing to ensure compliance with Company & DOT policies/procedures.
• Provide information on company operations and job opportunities to potential applicants
• Attend job/career fairs with appropriate staff to generate qualified applicants
• Gain and maintain knowledge and understanding of DOT regulations, industry trends, current best practices, and new developments regarding recruiting resources
• Ability to travel to and from the corporate office to terminal and other facility locations.
• Special projects and other duties as assigned.

Additional Job Description

Education and Experience Requirements                                          

• High School Diploma
• One year of experience in office/clerical support, and/or a combination of education and experience are required
• Ability to maintain confidentiality in daily operations

Computer Equipment and Software Requirements

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Systems

Additional Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of DOT and Federal Regulations
• Experience in HR or Staffing

This position does not have any direct supervisory responsibilities.
