About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Wealth Management Banking Coordinator to support the review and processing of wire transfer and money movement requests for affluent and high-net-worth clients. This role is responsible for validating supporting documents, performing AML, fraud, OFAC, and Travel Rule checks, identifying potential risks, and ensuring transactions are processed accurately and in compliance with regulatory and bank requirements.

In addition to daily production responsibilities, the role serves as a subject matter expert (SME), supports process improvement initiatives, assists with reporting and queue management, and contributes to automation and AI-driven solutions that enhance operational efficiency.


In this role, you will:

  • Assist in providing service to private wealth client relationships and addressing inquiries
  • Assist in administration of accounts by interacting with clients via phone and email to help resolve issues, supporting multiple people, and balancing multiple priorities
  • Perform moderately complex daily transactions and control records and files within policy guidelines
  • Research and resolve routine operational issues related to simple to moderately complex accounts
  • Prepare preliminary client correspondence
  • Receive direction from manager and escalate non-routine questions
  • Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and managers to resolve routine issues and achieve goals, while building a strong knowledge of internal policies and procedures
  • Maintain effective risk management through routine education, sound risk and operational decision making, and adherence to policies or procedures related to low to medium risks and deliverables
  • Manage and service a routine and low complexity affluent and high net worth client relationship portfolio in lending, credit, and deposit products and services


Required Qualifications:

  • 1+ year of Wealth Management Banking support experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience and education


Desired Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of U.S. Travel Rule requirements, including specific data elements required for wire transfers, and the Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC).

  • Expertise in reviewing wire operations documents such as BWTA, FTA, POA, Wire Instructions, and related documentation.

  • 1+ year of experience in Financial Services.

  • College graduate, preferably with a degree in Business, Finance, or a related field.

  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills. Knowledge of PowerPoint, data analytics, and tools such as Power BI, SQL, and VBA is a plus.

  • Experience implementing projects related to the revision, enhancement, or upgrade of operational procedures.

  • Ability to lead meetings, including discussions beyond process updates and staffing changes, such as process improvements, operational initiatives, and business-related topics.


Job Expectations:

  • Responsible for reviewing money movement requests while maintaining a high level of quality and ensuring compliance with Travel Rule requirements.

  • Responsible for completing assigned tasks within the bank's established Service Level Agreements (SLAs).

  • Identify and escalate potential risks associated with requests, including inaccuracies that could lead to operational or financial losses.

  • Identify, and when necessary, draft and submit Unusual Activity Referrals (UARs) related to potential money laundering, fraud, or other financial crime matters.

  • Provide insights and recommendations for process improvements that support business growth and operational efficiency.

  • May conduct training and knowledge-sharing sessions for newly onboarded team members.

  • Demonstrate the ability to become a Subject Matter Expert (SME) within a short period of time.

  • Ability to perform ad hoc tasks efficiently and effectively.

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.

  • Ability to work U.S. hours (graveyard shift).

  • Hybrid work arrangement: 3 days onsite and 2 days remote per week.

  • Must be amenable to working onsite at Five/NEO, BGC, Taguig.
