Job Description​

Saint Luke’s Physician Group is seeking a BC/BE abdominal radiologist for a full-time faculty appointment within our subspecialty practice of employed physicians at Saint Luke’s Health System in Kansas City, MO.

About the position

  • Our abdominal imaging section prides itself on its team oriented, inclusive, collegial approach and is a cohesive group of individuals

  • Opportunity to practice specialty specific imaging approximately 80% of the time as well as 20% of work focused on general nuclear medicine and oncologic PET/CT; no mammography or neuroradiology is required

  • Subspecialty specific imaging opportunities include but are not limited to transplant imaging, GI, GU and GYN-oncologic imaging in addition to other subspecialty specific imaging such as CT colonography, hysterosalpingography and sono hysterography

  • Daytime weekend call shifts consist with specialty specific work with occasional general radiology coverage; no evening or overnight shifts required 

  • Position will include an academic appointment with our academic affiliate, University of Missouri-Kansas City (UMKC); teaching responsibilities are a requirement as a member of our section and ample research opportunities are available if desired

  • The successful applicant will have completed or be in the process of completing an abdominal imaging or cross-sectional imaging fellowship 

  • This position cannot currently support J-1 Visa candidates
