Pacific Time Zone work schedule

Position Purpose: Supports month-end financial close process, budget and forecast development and monitoring, State regulatory reporting, and ad-hoc financial analysis requests.

• Develop integrated revenue/expense analyses, projections, reports, and presentations
• Create and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual reports and ensures financial information has been recorded accurately
• Identify trends and developments in competitive environments and presents findings to senior management
• Perform financial forecasting and reconciliation of internal accounts
• Handle complex and high level financial analysis
• Present and discuss analysis with upper management

Education/Experience: Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience. 4+ years of financial or data analysis experience. Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.

Preferred Skills:

Financial analysis experience in a healthcare or health insurance role

Strong technical skills (Excel, SQL, financial systems)

Experience developing financial models

Ability to think critically and analyze data

Knowledge of healthcare billing terminology and practices

Ability to prioritize multiple deliverables and deadlines

Proactive approach to the role (i.e. improve processes and find efficiencies).
