Are you a Technical Specialist or an ambitious Application Support Professional ready to step into a key role with a growing international software business? We offer an excellent opportunity to join the Wedge Delivery Team in our Kraków, Poland office. You will be instrumental in deploying and maintaining our market-leading Data and Process Analysis software, helping top European and Global industrial clients maximize the benefits of our Wedge solution.

Your Impact and Responsibilities

This role focuses on the execution and maintenance of our software in customer environments, requiring the effective use of our modern tooling to drive efficiency.

• Implementation & Maintenance: Your primary focus will be to implement Wedge software deliveries and updates directly to industrial customers' mill sites, primarily using remote access.

• Core Support: Provide high-level software support to end-users and product support personnel.

• Modern Troubleshooting: Engage in diagnosing, troubleshooting, and debugging system, software, and network issues. You will utilize our integrated AI assistant to streamline complex problem-solving, documentation, and knowledge retrieval processes.

• Collaborative Growth: Work closely with Customer Service Specialists and Software Engineers to resolve complex platform-related problems, ensuring you have the support needed to grow your expertise.

Day-to-Day Activities Include:

• Technical support and routine software maintenance, leveraging our AI assistant for efficient documentation and process analysis.

• Configuration tasks utilizing the Windows environment, including Java programming language and SQL server tools within our software stack.

• Installing and configuring the system in the customer's production environment, mainly via remote connection.

• Supporting and maintaining data interface programs (OPC, databases, REST APIs, etc.).

Required Knowledge & Skills

This role is ideal for a candidate with a solid technical foundation eager to specialize in enterprise application deployment.

• Knowledge of Windows server environment.

• Familiarity with databases (e.g., SQL Server, MySQL, Oracle, etc.) is an advantage.

• Some programming knowledge and adaptability to evolving environments.

• Fluent English skills (both written and spoken) are required; other languages, especially German, are an advantage.

• Knowledge of Windows terminal server, Citrix, AWS, and Azure environments is an advantage.

• Knowledge of Industrial instrumentation and manufacturing environments (DCS, QCS, LIMS, ERP, MES) is an advantage.
