Internal MedicineJob Duties Outlined:
Provide clinical supervision of resident physicians and medical students or significant involvement with each resident physician when supervising.
Attend GMEC committees, conferences, etc. as requested by the Internal Medicine Chair or Emergency Medicine Program Director.
Participate in ad hoc GME activities.
Complete monthly resident evaluations within one week of the end of their rotation.
Attend educational sessions - M&M conferences, Grand Rounds, Journal Clubs, visiting professors, etc.
Provide a minimum of two didactics per year.
Participate in Clinical Competence Committee and Program Evaluation Committee processes.
Participate in departmental simulations and research activities.

Work Environment:
Faculty member must be able to obtain hospital privileges at Wesley Medical Center.
MD or DO degree or foreign degree equivalent

Certifications/Licenses:
Board certified in emergency medicine or pediatric emergency medicine.
Hold or be eligible for Kansas medical license.
Work Experience:
Experience in teaching and supervising medical students and resident physicians in the area of emergency medicine
