Team Description:

The Senior Solutions Engineer - Globalscape is a critical role within Disney Corporate, where you will be responsible for supporting and sustaining the GlobalScape Managed File Transfer application. This hands-on position requires a strong technical foundation and a commitment to customer service, ensuring the secure and seamless transfer of files across the organization. As part of the corporate team, you will collaborate with world-class leaders to drive innovative solutions that align with Disney's global storytelling mission.

What You’ll Do:

As a Senior Solutions Engineer, you will play a vital role in maintaining and enhancing Disney's Managed File Transfer systems. Your expertise will be pivotal in resolving complex technical issues, implementing automation, and ensuring secure file transfer protocols. This role demands a proactive approach to problem-solving, independent work, and the ability to contribute to multiple projects simultaneously. Your contributions will directly impact Disney's ability to deliver world-class entertainment experiences.

  • Provide technical support for the GlobalScape Managed File Transfer application, including diagnosing connectivity issues and resolving customer support incidents.

  • Support tools application, prioritize user incidents, and aid in system upgrades and security enhancements.

  • Develop and maintain technical documentation and identify opportunities for automation of redundant tasks.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define escalation paths and communicate effectively across audiences.

  • Ensure compliance with corporate policies and security standards while supporting infrastructure tools and operational processes.

  • Utilize third-party tools and SFTP client software to enable customer solutions and enhance system functionality.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

  • Proficiency in secure file transfer protocols such as SFTP and HTTPS.

  • Experience with Managed File Transfer applications like GlobalScape, Axway, GoAnywhere, or MoveIT.

  • Strong technical documentation skills and ability to analyze data for customer solutions.

  • Familiarity with SFTP client software (Filezilla, WinSCP, SecureFX).

  • Knowledge of automation tools such as AutoMATE and scripting languages like PowerShell.

  • Understanding of infrastructure tools, operational processes, and practices.

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in technical support or related roles.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with ServiceNow and QA tools automation.

  • Curiosity and ability to stay abreast of emerging system development trends.

  • Ability to adapt in fast-paced and changing environments.

  • Proficiency in communication and project tools such as Office 365, Confluence, Jira, Slack, and Yammer.

Required Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software, Electrical or Electronics Engineering, or comparable field of study, and/or equivalent work experience

The hiring range for this position in Orlando, FL is $123,100 to $162,100 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
