Caterpillar’s Product Support and Logistics Division (PSLD) Team is looking for someone who enjoys partnering with others in the delivery of best in class in Human Resources support at our Waco Texas facility. As the Human Resources Coordinator, you’ll be in our Waco, Texas office and will play a key role in positively impacting Caterpillar leaders and employees. What you will do:

  • Apply high standards for excellence by efficiently and accurately supporting a variety of Human Resources processes and projects.
  • Partner with colleagues to ensure new employees have an informative and engaging welcome to Caterpillar. This includes leading the logistics and managing the technical aspects of the new employee orientation, identifying, recommending, and implementing opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Support projects and programs to create a culture supporting Caterpillars values in action by engaging with colleagues to ensure a timely and accurate flow of information and resources.

What you will have:

Experience: 1+ years of HR experience in employee relations

Business Process Improvement: You understand the importance of your work on the business. You identify, evaluate, recommend, and implement more efficient approaches in order to better meet business needs.  You know that candid feedback is a valuable input to drive improvement, so you seek out feedback in addition to using quantitative measures to identify improvement opportunities. 

Information Capture: You know business needs may shift; your welcome information that informs your work so that you can adapt and reprioritize as needed. You follow defined procedures and processes, capture and share information with the appropriate audiences in a timely manner.  You’re able to use automated tools to gather and organize relevant information in an auditable, organized, understandable and easily retrievable manner.

Service Excellence: You provide a quality of service that customers and internal partners describe as excellent, and you lean into your ability to use technology to deliver outstanding solutions.  You resolve problems when they arise by first actively listening and ensuring you understand the underlying concern. You engage and collaborate successfully with stakeholders and colleagues to ensure strong communication, alignment and understanding of the business and project deliverables. You often anticipate customer or partner requests and provide solutions proactively. In cases of unexpected customer/partner needs, you respond in a timely, positive manner and follow-through to ensure needs are met.

Accuracy and Attention to Detail: You understand the necessity and value of accuracy and complete work with high levels of precision.  You check your work to ensure it is representative of your high standards of excellence while also being mindful of time constraints and demonstrating a sense of urgency. When mistakes occur, you learn from them, identify ways to avoid those errors in the future and apply the improvements.

Human Resources Operations and Employee Relations: You manage sensitive and confidential information appropriately, follow operational processes and organizational policies to serve as a role model for Caterpillar Values and to ensure day-to-day operations run smoothly.  You can describe key responsibilities and scope for different areas of Human Resources.

Problem Solving and Communications: Resolves common customer problems.

Provides direct service to internal or external customers. Processes limited amounts of detailed information with good accuracy.
