Job Summary:

The Merchandising Space Planner will oversee all retail space planograms and floor layouts working with the Category Management, Retail Space, and Business Partner’s teams to accomplish planogram creation, updates, and maintenance. The right candidate will be able to leverage all available data sources to make recommendations that will improve the performance of the retail space in our locations.

Job Description:

  • Support the Category Management and Retail Space departments in executing merchandise planning functions to produce "Best in Class" planograms for retail locations.
  • Develop and analyze merchandise assortments delivering overall category growth through a combination of internal merchandising tools, specified guidelines, and data.
  • Analyze retail and market level data to develop planogram schematics utilizing the Symphony AI Space Planning software platform.
  • Create relevant product assortments and optimal space planning to drive sales across the business.
  • Assist with administrative responsibilities prior to retail project sets (such as data cleansing, planogram management, planogram retrieval, review of retail and category management guidelines, etc.)
  • Understanding and utilization of data integrity tools to ensure correct data inputs and outputs in projects and planograms.
  • Effectively communicate and coordinate with vendor partner resources and space management teams to ensure accurate and timely completion of deadlines.

Additional Job Description:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience with Symphony Cloud, JDA, or similar Space Planning Software a must!
  • Proficient in MS Office.
  • Capable of making public presentations.
  • Self-motivated and able to function well in an ambiguous environment where functional direction at time may be undetermined.
  • Self-starter, with the ability to work both independently, as well as part of a team.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new skills.
  • Detail oriented and excellent organizational skills, attention to detail a must.

Pay Range:

$63,300.00 - $88,600.00

The pay range for this position is outlined above. The final amount offered at the start of employment is determined based on factors including, but not limited to, experience level, knowledge, skills, abilities and geographic location, and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance and market factors.
