EDUCATION • Degree in finance or accounting, or equivalent work experience equally preferable • Advanced degree preferred CERTIFICATIONS • Required: Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Chartered Accountant (CA) or regional equivalent WORK EXPERIENCE • Experience in financial reporting or control, with leadership experience in large financial organizations. FUNCTIONAL SKILLS • Expertise in International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), and jurisdictional standards, such as MiFID II and Basel III • Deep understanding of global regulatory reporting requirements • Proficiency in consolidation systems, such as Oracle Financial Services Analytical Applications or SAP S/4HANA • Experience in risk management and financial compliance • Oversight of audit readiness and Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) documentation • Familiarity with environmental, social, and governance (ESG) reporting frameworks FOUNDATIONAL SKILLS • Demonstrates leadership • Operates strategically • Makes sound business decisions in a complex environment • Collaborates across business functions • Inspires innovation and values lifelong learning • Always acts with integrity RESPONSIBILITIES • Lead global financial reporting, ensuring compliance with IFRS, GAAP, and local regulations • Oversee preparation of annual reports and investor communications • Manage audit processes with external and internal teams • Advise senior management on financial risks and mitigation strategies • Ensure compliance with Basel III and other international regulations • Drive improvements in reporting systems and processes • Integrate ESG disclosures into financial statements
