About this role 

The Surgery & MSK Care Experience Unit (CXU) Manager will oversee program management and drive accountability for priority initiatives across CXU enabling teams. This role involves governance support, sales enablement, project management, quality assurance, and escalation management. This  Manager role will collaborate cross-functionally to optimize processes, implement enhancements, and monitor program effectiveness. 

What you’ll do  

  • Program Management: 
    • Manage Surgery & MSK CXU programs by ensuring accountability and documentation of priority initiatives.  
    • Execute on new initiative development to enhance program offerings. 
    • Support governance through core and cross-functional weekly meetings. 
    • Drive and enable operational processes and improvements across the CXU. 
    • Provide project management support for solution expansion launches. 
    • Leverage solution expertise to assist commercial team success, including answering questions, assisting with RFPs, and driving key documentation  
  • Quality Assurance: 
    • Develop processes and execute ongoing work for quality assurance and auditing at the surgery case level. 
    • Maintain infrastructure for quality assurance to ensure adherence to set processes and accountability. 
    • Identify and implement improvements across cross-functional teams. 
    • Enhance reporting and visibility processes, including dashboard creation. 
  • Escalation Management: 
    • Manage client and member escalations or issues related to Surgery or MSK experiences, using a cross-functional approach involving Care Support Services, Provider Relations, Billing, and Care Experience partners when required. 
    • Monitor program effectiveness and identify opportunities in key aspects of Surgery & MSK solutions. 
  • Workstream Coordination: 
    • Identify staffing changes during process optimizations and address them through appropriate channels. 
    • Act as a single project manager for consistency across initiatives. 
    • Coordinate calls, meeting agendas, and notes, delegating to workstream leads where applicable. 
    • Collaborate with the Surgery and MSK Leads and functional leaders to improve project execution. 
    • Conduct Phase closeout activities and document outcomes. 
    • Document and track issues/risks, escalating when necessary. 
    • Manage status reporting for workstreams using Jira and Confluence. 

What we’re looking for 

  • Proven experience managing projects across cross-functional teams, preferably in process optimization. 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. 
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities across all levels of an organization 
  • Ability to manage both internal and external stakeholders with a high degree of professionalism and poise 
  • Familiarity with Salesforce and project management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence). 
  • Ability to work effectively in a matrix reporting structure. 
  • Ability to interpret and implement quality assurance standards and provide comprehensive feedback. 
  • Strong sense of urgency in driving projects to completion, with the ability to work independently under pressure. 
  • Passionate about improving health, wellbeing, and the healthcare system. 
  • Experience in the health and wellness field with an understanding of the healthcare system. 

Nice to have  

  • 3-5 years of project or solutions management in healthcare services or health tech. 
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a STEM-related field or equivalent professional experience. 
  • Naturally curious individuals who enjoy discovering how things work and finding ways to improve upon them. 
  • Individuals with humble attitudes that love solving hard problems.

As a remote position, the salary range for this role is:
$120,000$140,000 USD

Individual compensation packages are based on a few different factors unique to each candidate, including primary work location and an evaluation of a candidate’s skills, experience, market demands, and internal equity.  

Salary is just one component of Transcarent's total package. All regular employees are also eligible for the corporate bonus program or a sales incentive (target included in OTE) as well as stock options.
