ABOUT YOUR NEW ROLE
Join our Resource Unit at St Vincent’s Private Hospital Melbourne as an experienced Perioperative Registered Nurse or Enrolled Nurse (Scrub/Scout) and play a vital role in providing exceptional surgical care across our growing network of hospitals.
We are seeking passionate and skilled Perioperative Registered and Enrolled Nurses to join our Casual Nurse Bank, supporting our state-of-the-art Fitzroy campus and other SVPHM locations.
This is your opportunity to work within a leading surgical environment that continues to grow — with significant expansion in Orthopaedic, Neurosurgery, and Cardiothoracic surgery, and the completion of our major redevelopment featuring new operating theatres, ICU, maternity services, and inpatient wards.
If your scrub/scout experience lies in any of the following specialties, we’d love to hear from you:
Orthopaedic
Neurosurgery
Cardiothoracic
Colorectal / UGIS
Plastics
Ophthalmology / Vitreoretinal
Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery

ABOUT YOU

Your skills and experience include:
Minimum 2 years’ recent perioperative nursing experience (Registered or Enrolled Nurse)
At least 12 months’ specialty scrub/scout experience
Current AHPRA registration (Registered or Enrolled Nurse – unrestricted)
Working with Children Check (current)
Post Graduate Certificate (or working towards) in Perioperative Nursing (desirable for RNs)
Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a high-performing multidisciplinary team
Excellent communication, time management, and interpersonal skills
Flexible, reliable, and committed to providing high-quality patient care
