The Senior Analyst – Strategic Governance will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth and efficient governance of the Americas Shared Service Center at NiHUB, working closely with the Strategy & Transformation office. Reporting to the Senior Manager, this individual will be responsible for the oversight, coordination, and execution of governance-related initiatives across the Americas region.

This position will manage the governance framework for committees, drive the completion of key strategic projects, and ensure transparent, timely communication of governance decisions. The role requires a blend of project management expertise, strategic thinking, and strong communication skills to manage cross-functional initiatives while maintaining alignment with senior leadership's objectives.

You will collaborate with stakeholders across Service Management, Operations, and Transformation, acting as the linchpin for governance activities and ensuring all actions, reports, and materials are delivered on time. This role requires a high level of maturity, integrity, and trust, as you will handle sensitive information and interact regularly with senior leadership. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, a proactive mindset, and the ability to manage multiple projects with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

Governance Framework Management:

  • Develop and Maintain Governance Structures: Design, implement, and maintain governance policies, processes, and frameworks that align with the organization’s strategic objectives and promote operational efficiency.

  • Ensure Compliance and Consistency: Ensure that all governance activities adhere to internal policies, corporate standards, and industry best practices, maintaining consistency across all levels of governance.

Committee Coordination and Support:

  • Manage Governance Committees: Coordinate and support the governance of key committees, including preparing agendas, compiling meeting materials, documenting minutes, and ensuring decisions are communicated and acted upon.

  • Track and Monitor Actions: Track the execution of strategic initiatives and decisions from governance committees, ensuring timely completion and follow-up on key actions.

  • Liaison Across Teams: Act as the primary contact for cross-functional teams (Service Management, Operations, Transformation) to align governance activities with broader business objectives.

Project and Task Management:

  • Drive Project Execution: Lead and manage governance-related projects, ensuring timely delivery of objectives. Actively manage risks, identify roadblocks, and develop solutions to ensure projects remain on track.

  • Ensure Accountability: Monitor the progress of tasks and projects, ensuring clear ownership and accountability across teams.

  • Facilitate Collaboration: Ensure effective collaboration across functions to achieve governance objectives, proactively addressing any misalignments or inefficiencies.

Governance Tools and Technology:

  • Automate and Streamline Processes: Leverage governance tools and platforms (e.g., SharePoint, dashboards) to automate workflows, improve transparency, and ensure easy access to governance-related data.

  • Optimize Workflow Efficiency: Continuously seek ways to enhance the efficiency of governance processes through the application of new technologies or improvements to existing systems.

Executive Communication and Reporting:

  • Prepare Executive-Level Materials: Develop high-quality presentations, reports, and dashboards for senior leadership, summarizing governance outcomes, progress on strategic initiatives, and key decision points.

  • Effective Storytelling: Use data and insights to create compelling narratives that simplify complex governance topics, making them accessible and engaging for executive audiences.

  • Regular Updates: Provide senior leaders with regular updates on governance activities, risks, and opportunities, ensuring they have full visibility on governance performance and issues requiring attention.

Governance Performance Monitoring and Improvement:

  • Track Key Metrics: Establish and track governance performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and recommending actions to optimize governance processes.

  • Foster Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on industry best practices and trends in governance and propose adjustments to ensure the governance framework remains cutting-edge and effective.

Education/Certifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree: Required in Industrial Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related technical fields.

  • Project Management or Agile Certification: Training in Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) or project management certifications are highly desirable.

Work Experience:

  • 1-2 years of experience in governance, project management, or related areas within a global organization.

  • Experience working directly with senior leadership, supporting high-level decision-making, and ensuring seamless execution of governance or strategic projects.

  • Strong experience in managing multiple priorities and coordinating complex projects across departments.

  • Outstanding Communication & Leadership: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage with senior leadership and governance bodies, provide clear updates, insights, and deliver executive-level reports and presentations.

  • Storytelling: Strong ability to convey complex governance updates and project progress in a clear, engaging, and executive-friendly manner.

  • Agile Expertise: Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools, using them to drive iterative improvements in governance processes and streamline operations.

  • High Energy & Adaptability: Thrives in dynamic, fast-paced environments, with the ability to pivot quickly, manage changing priorities, and maintain focus on delivering results.

Language: Advanced English required, Portuguese a plus

Travel %: Less than 10%

Computer Skills:  

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with experience in governance/project management software (e.g., Monday.com, MS Project) and basic knowledge of data analytics tools.

Working Relationships:

  • Internal Stakeholders: SSC Americas Director, Senior Leadership Team, and various functional teams (Service Management, Operations, Transformation, IT).

  • Collaboration: Regular collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and delivery of governance-related projects and tasks.
