The E-learning Developer supports the training efforts of the Human Resources Independent Compliance Risk Management Team. The candidate will develop e-learning learning materials by integrating adult learning theory and creativity into all design elements for the creation of interactive and effective learning experiences.   
 
Key Job Responsibilities: 

  • Develop new course materials, redesign, or update existing courses in authoring software.  

  • Responsible for the end-to-end course development process, including creating storyboarding, designing and developing engaging and interactive e-learning courses, reviewing, testing, and publishing. 

  • Identify the best ways to illustrate course content by selecting colors, images, typography, and layout while complying with industry and Citi standards. 

  • Create supporting material/media such as: videos, infographics, job aids, and simulations. 

  • Develop assessments, including knowledge checks or quizzes, to measure learners’ comprehension and ensure alignment with learning objectives. 

  • Work with subject matter experts to review, refine, and credibly challenge content and offer suggestions from a learning perspective. 

  • Perform course design review; provide feedback/suggestions on course design, grammar, functionality, consistency, images, spacing, etc. 

  • Communicate project status and challenges effectively to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and timely updates for informed decision making. 

  • Create ADA course documentation. 

  • Provide and be receptive to feedback. 

 

Qualifications: 

 

  • Must provide portfolio with e-learning work samples using authoring software at time of application. 

  • Proficient in e-learning authoring tools: DominKnow “DK1”, Storyline, Snagit, Camtasia, Adobe Creative Suite, e.g., Photoshop, etc. 

  • Excellent creativity and design skills, with the ability to cohesively integrate lines, color, shape, space, images, and typography to create visually appealing and well-structured courses. 

  • Demonstrated experience incorporating adult learning theory, practices, and methodologies into the creation of training materials used in a business setting. 

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office: PowerPoint, Word, Outlook. 

  • Ability to communicate professionally with all levels of management. 

  • Able to organize workload and manage multiple projects. 

  • Detail-oriented; ability to work in a fast-paced environment. 

  • Ability to perform duties with minimal direction. 

  • Bilingual in English and Spanish - Proficient in both written and spoken English, is required. 

  • Minimum 5 years of instructional design experience with at least 2 years’ experience in a corporate environment. 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Communication, or related field is preferred, master’s degree is a plus.
