Customer Sales Specialist

Job Description:

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Manage the overall account relationship and the day-to-day sales activities by providing service and support to the assigned customer base
• Working with internal and external resources, facilitating the work of others in quoting, fulfilling demand, and troubleshooting other customer requirements
• Owner of the overall Quote to Order Processes and order preparation for specified customers, coordinates resources and processing of quotations, works with management to set pricing
• Work with appropriate supplier contacts and internal departments to solve pre-sales and post-sales problems, provide proactive notification to customer of changes to delivery status
• Liaison between sales team- ensures returns, invoicing, credit, shipping issues, etc. are resolved in a timely fashion
• Ongoing Sales Support activities for the Order to Invoice process. Owns & Maintains Perfect Order Index (POI) and Inventory integrity to minimize write offs/bill backs

What We Are Looking For:

• Typically requires a 4-year degree and 2–4 years of industry experience in customer service, sales, buying, planning, or procurement.
• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; must be fluent in English.
• Knowledge of ERP systems: Oracle, Salesforce, and/or SAP.

Work Arrangement:

• Hybrid: 3 days in office / 2 days work from home

Actual compensation offer to candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level. The pay ratio between base pay and target incentive (if applicable) will be finalized at offer.
