Title: Director of Marketing at The Hemp Company by Curaleaf

Who You Are: 

As the Director of Marketing for The Hemp Company by Curaleaf, you’ll lead B2C marketing strategy, driving ecommerce growth, new product launches, and optimization of existing offerings. This is a hands-on role with the opportunity to shape and scale a growing vertical within Curaleaf, playing a key role in defining its market presence.

You’ll own brand-based CRM and Rewards for Select and our ecommerce merch stores, collaborating with Hemp leadership, sales and marketing teams, the Commercialization team, and external partners. Managing a Senior Manager of Ecommerce/Digital, you’ll spearhead digital strategy, enhance the customer journey, and maximize conversions.

What You’ll Do: 

  • Develop and execute Curaleaf Hemp’s B2C marketing strategy, leading campaigns and content from concept to launch to drive engagement, brand growth, and sales
  • Lead CRM and Rewards marketing strategy for Hemp, Select, and Ecommerce merch stores, managing lifecycle journeys, promotional campaigns, and loyalty programs to drive engagement, retention, and sales
  • Align brand strategy, ecommerce execution, and retail expansion to create a seamless, cohesive consumer experience that drives growth and engagement
  • Create and execute an omnichannel marketing strategy that drives both DTC and retail growth, ensuring alignment with business objectives for maximum impact
  • Manage Hemp's social media strategy, creating engaging content while tracking performance, analyzing key metrics, and optimizing campaigns to drive growth and engagement
  • Partner with external agencies as needed to support strategic marketing initiatives and optimize campaign performance
  • Lead and mentor the Sr. Manager of Ecommerce/Digital, providing training, strategic direction, and hands-on coaching to drive performance, execution, and team success

What You’ll Bring:

  • You bring 8-10+ years of experience in consumer-packaged goods (CPG) and marketing
  • You have a strong foundation in CPG marketing with a deep understanding of the marketing mix, including product, positioning, packaging, pricing, promotion, and distribution
  • You thrive in a fast-paced, hands-on role, managing multiple projects simultaneously with independence, resilience, and a sharp focus on execution
  • You bring strong leadership and project management skills, expertly guiding cross-functional teams, managing timelines, and ensuring flawless execution with a keen eye for detail
  • You leverage strong analytical skills to interpret data, drive strategic decisions, and deliver impactful business results
  • You bring strong financial acumen, strategic thinking, and negotiation skills, with a proven ability to solve problems, generate innovative ideas, adapt to changing priorities, and communicate effectively through compelling writing and presentations
  • You are highly proficient in Meta & Google Ads, Shopify, Salsify, Yotpo, DoorDash, and the Microsoft Suite, leveraging these tools to drive marketing performance and business growth
