About the role
The Senior Network Project Security Engineer is responsible for delivering network security services to outsourcing enterprise accounts on time, on target and with quality. Our team works on 8x5 shift and focuses on implementing projects with different complexity and change management of configuration items. The main goal is to minimize the amount of unplanned downtime in the customer's production environment and to achieve a high level of customer satisfaction.

Daily challenges

  • Participating in planning, designing, configuration and implementation of network security solutions for our corporate customers, based on leading vendors
  • Leading network projects from technical security perspective and providing consultation to other involved parties
  • Preparing relevant technical documentation and maintaining the configuration management database (CMDB) configuration items in conjunction with environment changes
  • Planning and implementing normal/complex, routine or emergency changes
  • Participating in Change Advisory Board (CAB) / Technical Advisory Board (TAB) meetings to provide feedback, approve/decline and determine impact of planned changes for customer environment
  • Participating in root cause analysis related to project activities

eXperience and skills required

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Telecommunication or equivalent
  • At least 4 years of relevant experience, ideally supporting the network security infrastructure of Enterprise customers
  • Knowledge and experience in firewall setup/configuration- Fortinet, Juniper, Checkpoint, Cisco, Palo Alto
  • Understanding of Zone Base Firewall concept
  • Experience with IPS/IDS technology, Proxy (Bluecoat or other proxy vendor), Load Balancers ASM modules (F5 or other similar vendors
  • Knowledge about security threats
  • Understanding of IT Service Management (ITSM) and IT Infrastructure Libraries (ITIL) processes
  • Good communication skills and customer centric focus - ability to communicate clearly and in a timely manner with all customers, partners and users, internal and external
  • Fluency in English
  • Cisco CCNP- Security, Fortinet NSE 5 or higher and/or other equivalent network security certification (considered advantage)
  • Experience with Cisco and HP/Aruba network technologies (considered advantage)
  • Public Cloud (Azure, AWS, VMware) (considered advantage)
  • Network Access Control (Cisco, Aruba) (considered advantage)
  • SDWAN (Cisco, Aruba, Fortinet) (considered advantage)
  • Zscaler (considered advantage)
