The "Special Transport Type Professional (SPTR)" within Supply Chain Integrated Logistics is responsible for fleet management of rail tank cars and tank containers. In the field of fleet management, we are looking for an expert with the following responsibilities:

What We Offer

• Maintenance and review of tank containers master data (container data, inspection data, return data) and documentation of container files in logistic software program - Ovinto

• Planning and coordination of periodic inspections and repairs of tank containers

• Organization of necessary transports for repair, testing as well as monitoring of depot services

• Development and optimization of processes for damaged containers such as testing, cleaning and return

• Coordination between logistics partners for the correct procedure in the event of damage within the framework of international container regulations

•  Resolving tank container issues between logistic providers and logistic/manufacturing sites

The minimum salary on this position is 1800 EUR. The salary can be higher depending on the skills and experience of the candidate.

What You Offer

• University, bachelor’s degree or high school diploma preferably in a field of logistics, business administration or general acquired middle education

• Very good written and spoken German (min. C1 level) and English (min. B1)

• Working experience in fleet management of either trucks, tank containers, railcars or box trailers etc. might be of a great value and it is viewed as an advantage

• Forwarding agent or comparable qualifications with relevant professional experience are highly appreciated

• Knowledge of contract management and invoice verification processes are a big plus

• Knowledge of the international regulations for tank containers (IMDG, ADR, RID) is an advantage

• Understanding of transportation management principles, practices with ability to improve logistic processes

• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word), SAP TM or other logistic software
