Position: Production Training Coordinator
Location: Westbrook, Maine
 

Business Unit: Infectious Disease Developed Markets

Role Overview: In this role, you will provide administrative support to the production team to produce quality products, seek continuous improvement, and achieve established goals and targets for safety, quality, and productivity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the Operations Trainer to ensure all training objectives are met and support priority projects.
  • Coordinate and facilitate training needs and documentation.
  • Accurately maintain all paper and electronic training records.
  • Present training sessions.
  • Maintain a clean and orderly work area.
  • Develop and improve training tools to effectively train staff.
  • Assist in the facilitation of orientation training and functions that support the onboarding of new employees.
  • Comply with established business policies.
  • Exhibit professional behavior with both internal and external business associates, reflecting positively on the company.
  • Understand and be aware of the quality consequences that may occur from improper performance of specific job duties.
  • Perform other duties and projects as assigned.

Education and Experience:

Required:

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
  • 3+ years’ experience in a professional environment.
  • Prior experience using CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practices) and techniques.
  • Prior experience providing training.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Applications – Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.

Preferred:

  • Associate’s degree or higher from a college or technical school in manufacturing or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Comprehensive understanding of operational excellence/lean principles and applications.
  • Comprehensive understanding of medical device manufacturing.
  • Literacy and comprehension of standard operating procedures and manufacturing documents such as work orders, batch records, and bill of materials.

The base pay for this position is

$57,300.00 – $114,700.00

In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
