Job Summary
This Part-Time role serves as a shared team member for multiple divisions within the company, with the primary responsibility of capturing fingerprints for employees and volunteers for AACPS. This position will also assist the department with daily functions by providing exceptional administrative support and excellent customer service.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Assists applicants via email/telephone/in person
- Schedules appointments
- Processes payments
- Manages QC Applicant’s Paperwork
- Fingerprints applicants (does not require prior knowledge)
- Travels to off-site locations to perform fingerprinting services within the AACPS / PGCPS school district
- Disposition research cross training responsibilities to include;
- Quickly & effectively researches online information for court records
- Thoroughly reviews the court records to gather needed information
- Enters gathered information into spreadsheet for leadership review
- Maintains in-depth working knowledge of departmental guidelines & processes
Minimum Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Must pass a thorough background check to include fingerprinting
- Required to pass a certified fingerprint technician course through the State of Maryland.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office required
- Able to multitask efficiently and effectively
- Bilingual- Spanish is a plus but not required
- Notary is a plus but not required
- Strong attention to detail
- Highly organized
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work in fast-paced environment
- High level of customer services, regularly interacts with customers
- Proficiency with general computer/system navigation
