Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement sourcing strategies for assigned commodities, materials, or services
• Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers based on cost, quality, delivery, and performance
• Lead RFQs, RFPs, bid evaluations, negotiations, and contract discussions
• Manage supplier relationships and monitor performance metrics
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand demand and sourcing needs
• Ensure compliance with purchasing policies, procedures, and company standards
• Analyze market trends, pricing, and supply risks to support sourcing decisions
• Drive cost reduction, value improvement, and supply chain optimization initiatives
• Resolve supplier issues related to quality, delivery, or commercial terms
• Maintain accurate records of sourcing activities, contracts, and purchasing data

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related field preferred
• Fluent in Portuguese and English
• Proven experience in sourcing, procurement, or buying roles
• Proven experience in development of international suppliers, specially in Asia
• Strong negotiation, analytical, and relationship management skills
• Knowledge of procurement processes, contracts, and supplier management
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency with ERP or procurement systems

Preferred Skills

• Experience with strategic sourcing and category management
• Familiarity with Lean supply chain or cost-saving initiatives
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Experience working in manufacturing, industrial, or technical environments
