Job Summary
Provide a high level of support for our customers by receiving, reviewing, filing, and submitting carrier contracts, change requests, and various other types of administrative work. Process agent requests with carriers in a timely manner with accuracy, as well as confirm request completion with carriers via website, email, or phone. Ability to answer phones to assist agents or clients and transfer to the appropriate staff member. Fully cross trained in all areas of contracting to assist contracting team with questions and work with team leads to maintain appropriate volume of work.
Primary Responsibilities:
Review and submit agent contracts and change requests to carriers
Know and understand carrier specifications to ensure contracting is submitted in good order
Communicate agent status and missing requirements with agents/coordinators
Organize and maintain database as it relates to contracting information
Contact carriers via website, email or phone for any contracting follow-ups and/or questions that may arise
Input and maintain contracting data into various spreadsheets
Assist the contracting department with any daily tasks that arise
Answer phones and transfer to the appropriate staff member
Fully cross trained with the ability to shift between tasks in order to maintain appropriate volume
Special projects may be assigned to maintain clean an accurate database
Primary Skills & Requirements:
Highly detail oriented with a critical degree of accuracy regarding data entry and analysis
Good interpersonal and organizational skills
Ability to prioritize work and to perform multiple tasks simultaneously while adhering to deadlines
Good problem-solving and analytical skills;
Ability to take responsibility, to work well as a team member and to work independently
Ability to understand and follow directions and complex policies and procedures; ability to deal with confidential data
Have at least 1 year- 2 years of Licensing Coordinator II experience
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); prior experience preferred but not required.
Capacity to read, write, and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
Capability to effectively present information in person, over the phone, and in writing.
Capable of applying reasoning and common sense understanding to carry out written or oral instructions.
Possess basic computer navigation skills and knowledge or familiarity of basic computer programs/applications including but not limited to email, word processing, spreadsheet programs, internet, Adobe, etc.
Multi line phone skills.
Good oral and written communications.
Ability to plan and organize.
Adaptation to changing business operations
Ability to multi-task while working in a fast-paced environment
Effectively able to work independently and part of a team
