Job Description​

Saint Luke’s Home Health & Hospice serves multiple counties in Kansas and Missouri. Our specially trained nurses, therapists, and other skilled staff have delivered high-quality care to patients in the comfort of their own homes and under their physicians' direct supervision for more than 30 years. And as part of Saint Luke’s Health System, we deliver the same high-quality, comprehensive, and compassionate care.

Shift: The Home Health weekend RN is responsible for providing nursing care in the home setting. This position works 12-hour shifts on Saturday and Sunday, either 7 am - 7 pm or 8 am - 8 pm. Four Start of Care (SOC) appointments each day.

Position Highlights include:

Part time hours
Ability to work one on one with patients
Work autonomously as a RN 
Performs nursing assessments in the patients’ home.
Utilizes full scope of nursing skills, including wound and ostomy care, PICC line care, chronic care education and medication reviews.
Coordinates patients’ care - consulting other disciplines of the health care team. 
Individualizes patient care plans and adjusting or modifying the nursing plan of care as appropriate.
Collaborates with the medical staff and the other disciplines to provide and enhance patient care.
