Job Description:

We are building a cutting-edge technology platform and are looking for a highly motivated Front End Software Engineer to join our team in Bangalore, India. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in front-end technologies, such as JavaScript, TypeScript, and React, preferably with exposure to Financial Services, Real Assets (Oil & Gas, Real Estate, etc.), or Fintech.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality frontend interfaces using JavaScript, TypeScript, and React.
  • Work collaboratively with senior engineers, backend developers, and UX/UI designers to improve user experiences.
  • Gain proficiency in HTTP and APIs for data fetching and client-server interaction.
  • Help implement front-end code based on UX/UI design wireframes and specifications.
  • Contribute to data management strategies, including integration with backend services and databases.
  • Continuously learn and stay updated with frontend trends and technologies under the guidance of senior team members.
  • Understanding Geospatial technologies, spatial modeling, formatting, and analysis will be a strong plus.

 

Required qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field is preferred, but significant relevant experience will also be considered.
  • 8+ years in Frontend development.

Skills:

  • Languages: Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, and React is essential.
  • HTTP & APIs: Deep understanding of HTTP, RESTful APIs, and Websockets for effective data fetching, state management (Redux/Redux saga/Jotai), and client-server interaction.
  • Browser Frameworks: Strong understanding of browser-framework interactions.
  • Web Technologies: Strong fundamentals in HTML5 & CSS 3 and Web APIs.
  • Performance: Ability to troubleshoot, reason, and improve runtime performance of the FE application.
  • Build: Good understanding of frontend bundlers like Vite or Webpack and ability to tweak and optimize it.

  • Analytical Skills: Ability to understand complex issues and work with the team to find effective solutions.
