Northrop Grumman Mission Systems (NGMS) is seeking an Inspector Machined Parts- Level 4 (CMM Programmer) for our Rolling Meadows, IL facility.
This position acts as the metrology expert for incoming and in-process machined part inspections.
Inspects machined or partially machined parts, using predetermined methods and sequences to ensure compliance with customer and company specifications and quality requirements. Devises setups to measure the accuracy of compound angles, exacting tolerances, and numerous dimensions. Works from drawings, sketches, and specifications. Analyzes defective parts to determine the cause of the defect and recommends corrective action. May determine the method and sequences necessary to perform inspections. Must be able to work extended hours and can work in a fast-paced environment
Must have the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Must be able to stand and sit for extended periods.

Salary Range: $60,100.00 - $100,100.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results.
