Summary: We are looking for a QA Engineer with hands-on experience in mobile application testing and mobile backend testing, including API testing using Postman and database validation. The role will support the project during the UAT phase, with a strong focus on regression testing and end-to-end validation of mobile applications and supporting backend services for a North American automotive client. Pls share your CV as earliest Roles & Responsibilities: • Perform mobile application testing on Android and/or iOS platforms • Execute backend testing for mobile applications during the UAT phase • Perform API testing using Postman to validate backend services and mobile workflows • Support regression testing to ensure stability after fixes and enhancements • Validate API request/response payloads, headers, authentication, and error handling • Conduct database testing to verify data integrity and business rules • Write and execute SQL queries for backend data validation • Re-test fixed defects and perform impact analysis • Log, track, and manage defects using defect tracking tools • Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and UAT stakeholders • Provide test evidence and support UAT sign-off • Work in B shift to support North American client timelines Professional & Technical Skills: • 3-5 years of experience in QA / Software Testing • Strong experience in mobile application testing (Android / iOS) • Hands-on experience in mobile backend application testing • Expertise in API testing using Postman • Good understanding of REST APIs, HTTP methods, and status codes • Experience in database testing (MySQL / Oracle / PostgreSQL / SQL Server) • Proficiency in writing SQL queries • Experience in UAT and regression testing • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Mobile and Tablet Applications Testing. - This position is based at our Bengaluru office. - A Bachelors or masters degree in computer science Electronics or related field is required.
