We are seeking a passionate Brand Expression Designer to join our team of designers in Geneva! You would be responsible for both hands-on graphic design as well as leading projects with external partners across consumer touchpoints throughout the shopping journey. You will need expertise in the relevant design software to create new design strategies or bring established design concepts to finished executions. You will need a strong understanding of the creative design process and how to bring your ideas to life.

Your role:

  • Under the direction of the Brand Expression leader, you will craft excellent design solutions, build concepts, and execute the visual strategy for the brand across consumer touchpoints including packaging, visual communications, eCommerce, social media.
  • Lead projects by applying design mastery to programs and initiatives from idea to execution.
  • Translate consumer needs, brand identity, contextual imagery, and visual direction into functional, beautiful, targeted brand experiences.
  • Ensure brand guidelines and directives are embraced consistently and creatively.
  • Communicate and justify conceptual and directional choices.
  • Create engaging presentations including design inspiration, research summaries, mood boards, sketches/renderings, pack-cepts.
  • Research and develop a point-of-view on relevant market/design trends, consumer segments, and the competitive landscape to inspire and guide design directions.
  • Participate in design brainstorms, design reviews, and print production meetings.
  • Collaborate across your Design team and multi-functional teams to bring the design strategy to life.
  • Be accountable for excellent execution.

 

Job Qualifications

  • BA/BS in Graphic Design or similar discipline required.
  • A strong portfolio that demonstrates design mastery in graphic design and brand identity: creative excellence, storytelling, problem-solving and technical mastery.
  • Previous experience in design and execution for CPG brands across multiple media.
  • Strong communication skills, written, verbal and visual, with the ability to justify your conceptional and directional design choices.
  • Proficient English required - written and oral.
  • Strong collaboration and interdependence skills both within design and multi-functional partners.
  • Outstanding listening skills with a view to understanding and anticipating the needs.
  • Exceptional project management skills, ability to lead multiple initiatives and handle complexity with confidence. Proven field, outstanding time management skills, ability to set priorities and be accountable from concept to final design execution with excellence.
  • Software fluency in the latest graphics and business programs: Adobe CS (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Acrobat) and Microsoft Office 365 (Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Flexibility in an environment of constant change.
  • Ability to focus externally on trends and the competitive landscape of the business.
  • A keen eye and attention to detail that is critical to win in our categories.
