The Role:
The Shipping Coordinator is responsible for managing daily outbound and inbound freight activities, including preparing shipping documentation, scheduling freight, and maintaining accurate shipment records. This role serves as a key liaison with freight carriers and cross‑functional departments to resolve shipping issues, process returns and sub‑contract shipments, and ensure smooth operational flow. The Coordinator also supports shift leadership with day‑to‑day operational needs and performs additional duties as assigned.
Shift: Monday - Friday, 2PM - 10PM
Core Responsibilities:
To perform the job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
Prepares and keeps records of goods shipped, e.g., manifests, bills of lading
Coordinate and communicate with freight carriers on trailer switches and pick-ups
Troubleshoot freight issues related to shipping in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system
Schedule freight within online portals
Communicate with cross functional departments as needed
Process returns both internal and external
Process sub-contract shipments
Support shift supervisor on shift management needs
Prepares and keeps records of goods shipped, e.g., manifests, bills of lading
Additional duties as assigned
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent.
1+ years of experience in Shipping, logistics, or similar role
Experience with an ERP system
Experience operating a scanner
Ability to work independently with little direction or supervision.
Ability to prioritize and multi-task under short deadlines.
Effective organizational, analytical, written and verbal communication skills
DAY IN THE LIFE:
In this role, the working environment is a general production/assembly environment, and the physical demands may include but not limited to sitting, standing, reaching, bending and lifting up to 25 pounds.

The estimated pay range for this position is $24/hr. to $28/hr.. Starting pay is dependent on multiple factors, such as skills, experience, and work location.
