We are looking for a Go-To-Market Strategy Manager to join our team.

What this role involves: 

Responsible for translating the category’s marketing objectives into regional and market‑segment commercialization plans, the Go-To-Market Strategy Manager — in collaboration with the Category Management, Insights, Shopper, and Finance teams — will be responsible for: 

  • Actively contributing to the development and delivery of the category’s annual targets within the following market segments: conventional grocery, mass merchandisers, convenience stores, food services, industrial and club stores; 

  • Building and measuring the category’s MAPPS strategies (Merchandising, Assortment, Pricing, Promotion, Shelving) to achieve category objectives by region and market segment; 

  • Assortment strategy, distribution maximization, and listing of innovations; 

  • In‑store and on‑shelf placement strategy for products; 

  • Regular, long‑term, and promotional pricing strategy (depth and frequency of promotional activity); 

  • In‑store execution and merchandising strategy (displays); 

  • Monthly tracking and communication of key MAPPS indicators, with strategic adjustments as needed; 

  • In collaboration with the Category Manager and the Shopper team, ensuring flawless execution of the category’s annual plan: market activities (calendar format), customer listings, communication of innovation plans, and in‑store execution; 

  • Managing the category’s commercialization budget and investments related to MAPPS; 

  • Collaborating with the Insights team to evaluate categories using performance metrics (Nielsen and internal data) and presenting opportunities or threats, along with recommendations; 

  • Ensuring the activation of market and customer opportunities; managing category price increases when applicable (pricing strategy and impacts). Acting as a cross‑functional liaison, ensuring effective communication between Marketing, Sales, Demand Planning, and Finance. Serving as the key Sales contact for Brand Managers (Marketing); 

  • Actively participating in meetings related to category commercialization and contributing to the organization of various management committees. 

 

 

 

What you need to join our team: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or Business Intelligence; 

  • A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in the food industry (sales and category management); 

  • Knowledge of market analysis systems and datasets (Nielsen, IRI, Retail Link, Dunnhumby); 

  • Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite; 

  • Strong oral and written communication skills in French and English (English required to work with colleagues and clients in other Canadian provinces).
