This position will be a hybrid work arrangement, which translates to 2-3 days minimum per week in the office.

We are seeking a self-motivated Senior Performance Measurement Associate to join the Performance Measurement Group. The candidate will provide portfolio analytics, performance and reporting services for the firm’s private markets investments. This individual will work closely with the department’s internal performance measurement team as well as other departments (Investments, Investor Relations, Accounting, Marketing, Client Reporting, etc.) where vital to provide support to the Firm’s global investment activities.

What you will do:

  • Work with the manager to lead all aspect of quarterly fund performance including review and reconciliation of reports to quarterly automation reporting files
  • Create and review of quarterly performance datasets such as performance extract and composite track records
  • Provide data to internal teams, as needed
  • Ensure data provided for all advertising materials are prepared using approved policies and procedures
  • Design and test of existing and new technology applications impacting performance data
  • Identify and implement processes improvements and efficiencies to increase timely and accurate delivery of performance data
  • And other responsibilities as required

What you bring:

  • Experience in performance measurement, ideally in private markets; proven ability to calculate and/or validate calculated returns, fees, performance attribution, and exposure.
  • Experience with private/public benchmarking
  • Experience with GIPS standards and private wealth market preferred
  • Ability and desire to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Expert analytical skills and attention to detail
  • High level of maturity and ability to prioritize multiple projects with little direct supervision
  • Ability to manage workload efficiently and concentrate on detailed information in a fast-paced environment
  • Must demonstrate strong customer service orientation by generating and responding to requests in a timely manner
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree, MBA or Certificate in Investment Performance Management (CIPM) preferred, or equivalent experience in the field.

Experience

  • 5-8 Years finance experience in private equity capacity preferred
