Your Impact

The Manager, Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) leads Lowe's integrated Sales & Operations Planning process, aligning demand, supply, and financial objectives across all planning horizons. This role drives cross-functional collaboration, ensures data-driven decision-making, and connects strategy to execution to balance service, inventory, and cost. The position partners closely with Inventory Replenishment Planning, Transportation, DC Operations, Finance, and Store Operations to enable informed, consensus-based planning and execution.

What You Will Do

  • Lead and continuously improve the S&OP process across weekly, monthly, and annual cycles to ensure alignment between demand, supply, and financial goals.
  • Drive cross-functional collaboration to build balanced demand and supply plans that optimize service, flow, and cost performance.
  • Facilitate monthly S&OP and weekly S&OE reviews, ensuring timely communication of variances, risks, and decisions.
  • Partner with Supply Chain, Finance, and Operations teams to monitor supply plans and capacity readiness.
  • Develop and maintain standardized S&OP documentation, governance, and performance tracking to ensure process discipline and accountability.
  • Create and maintain KPIs, dashboards, and analytics to monitor plan health, drive insights, and support executive decision-making.
  • Lead readiness and scenario planning for major seasonal and promotional events.
  • Coach and develop a high-performing team supporting planning accuracy, analytical rigor, and proactive problem-solving.


Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related field or equivalent years of experience in lieu of education requirement, if applicable
  • 8-10 years of experience in supply chain, demand/supply planning, or integrated business planning (S&OP/IBP).
  • 5-7 years of proven success leading or executing S&OP processes within a large, complex network.
  • 5-7 years of strong analytical, problem-solving, and facilitation skills with the ability to synthesize insights from diverse data sources.
  • 1-2 years of experience leading or mentoring analytical teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional collaboration and influence senior stakeholders.
  • Experience developing KPIs, dashboards, and governance frameworks to drive planning accountability.
  • Proficiency in ERP and advanced planning tools (e.g., Blue Yonder, SAP, Anaplan) and data visualization platforms (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
  • Continuous improvement mindset with a track record of enhancing planning processes and driving measurable performance improvements.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with ability to translate technical insights into strategic recommendations.
