We are currently recruiting for an experienced Senior ETRM Application Analyst Developer with experience in using Endur packages and the energy commodity markets.

 

We embrace ‘flexible first’ as our guiding principle for flexible and hybrid working, which balances work, the team, and the individual need for flexibility. This role is based out of our London office, close to Marble Arch, with the team typically coming in 3 days per week.

 

There will also be an occasional requirement to travel to our Denmark offices (Aalborg and Copenhagen).

Role accountabilities:

  • Analyse, enhance, develop, troubleshoot and maintain functionality within OpenLink Endur platform

  • Analyse, enhance, develop, troubleshoot and maintain applications for other in-house integrated applications used by Front, Middle and Back Office users, integrated tightly with OpenLink Endur. These applications are written mainly in Java/OpenComponent

  • Understand existing ORACLE PL/SQL database packages and procedures, and code additional items or fix bugs on Oracle databases

  • Engage in other areas of SDLC - testing, documentation, implementation and release management process for the systems

  • Define automatic testing solution and deployment procedure

  • Document technical architecture, functional design of the interface and define user guide (if required) and troubleshooting guide before passing over the tools to the BAU team

  • Maintain and follow appropriate standards within the department for delivery of those tasks.

The Person:

  • Strong understanding of OpenLink Endur platform and experienced in using OpenLink development tools - either JVS or OpenComponents (JAVA). Also able to troubleshoot, support and maintain Endur instance

  • Good database development, either using Oracle PL/SQL

  • Knowledge of DMS, Crystal Report, RESTApi, Apache Kafka, etc technologies

  • Knowledge of trading, STP, Risk and Operations process

  • Capacity to work autonomously and to communicate with the different stakeholders of the project

  • Good analytical skills. Able to investigate, analyse and troubleshoot tasks

  • Able to perform various phases of SDLC where essential – analysis, coding, review, testing, documentation, implementation and release management. Along with any troubleshooting /investigation / support task.
