Site Project Manager & Communication Lead
Description -
This role serves as the primary point of contact for managing end-to-end and governing internal communication activities within HP Inc. Romania locations. This includes designing the internal communication governance model, executing the communication strategy as per the governance council's directives, and supporting all functions on communication matters.
Enhancing Internal Communication Strategy for Bucharest Site
- Develops and implements a comprehensive Site Communication Strategy aligned with the site's objectives.
- Maintains an updated, engaging Site website, ensuring relevance, user interaction, search engine visibility, responsive design, trend adaptation
- Explores Innovative Communication Technologies and effective communication channels and uses Eloqua for the communication.
- Leads communication campaigns and ensures the review of all on-site communications.
- Coordinates both online and face-to-face site events.
- Enhances social media presence.
- Internally and externally enhances Brand Visibility
- Recommends communication campaigns, leads discussions on the communication calendar, and ensures adherence to the agreed communication plan across all channels by all communication creators.
- Acts as an expert for all communications sent to Romanian employees through key channels: email, TV channel, plexiglass, Bucharest intranet page, etc.
- Ensures compliance with HP brand guidelines in communication, evaluates communication materials, and regularly updates communications.
- Manages the Media Team SharePoint site for the Bucharest location, containing materials from all site initiatives.
- Coordinates the publication of informational materials concerning content, design, article collection, and printing.
- Manages the annual communication budget and the Media Team
Collaboration with the Site Leadership:
- Collaborates with the leadership team to ensure the implementation of communication initiatives in line with strategic priorities.
- Prioritizes communication materials according to the strategy.
- Creates and updates presentation materials for the Bucharest organization.
- Provides relevant market information.
- Regularly participates in governance council meetings.
Leading and Developing the Media Team
- Coordinates the internal media team for all site-related activities
- Manages the budget effectively.
- Sub-Teams Implementation: Eloqua Team, Events Photographers, LinkedIn Ambassadors, Intranet Specialists, Communication Specialists
- Creates Engaging Content
- Ensures the interdepartmental efficient collaboration.
- Ensures Event Coverage
- Ensures the team’s skills development
- Motivates the team
- Regularly meets with the communication team, building expertise and utilizing skills for mutual benefit.
- Motivates the team to perform and engages in discussions with direct managers regarding performance and resource allocation approval.
Coordinating Site Engagement Activities
- Supports and oversees the implementation of site-level events for programs and initiatives related to volunteer groups' activities (e.g., CSR, Social Committee, Coaching Community, Digital Upskilling), People Organization, and external partnerships (ABSL, HR Management Club, universities, etc.).
Education and Experience:
- University degree in marketing, communication, or journalism is preferred.
- Advanced English (C1).
- Typically over 3 years of experience in communication-related activities.
Skills:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; great attention to detail.
- High capacity to work with different cross-functional teams.
- Strong influencing and communication skills.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft SharePoint (Designer, InfoPath, etc.).
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office tools.
- Basic knowledge of HTML.
- Flexibility and a positive approach.
- Passion for new and innovative initiatives.
- Ability to communicate at the senior management level.
Preferred:
- Basic knowledge of JavaScript.
- Basic knowledge of Adobe Lightroom, Canva, video creation and video editing tools.
- High level of empathy, responsiveness, and relationship orientation.
- High capacity to work with different cross-functional teams.
- Leadership skills.
