The following position is to join our RTX Enterprise Services Team:

RTX has an opening for an SAP Project Systems and Earned Value Analyst (Financial Applications) (Manager, Business Systems and Transformation) position.

• Exciting Opportunity for a dynamic, experienced, and energetic professional to join our team as an SAP Program Execution and Earned Value Team (PEV) Functional Analyst.

• This role requires a motivated individual who thrives on taking responsibility and tackling challenges in unfamiliar areas.

• The ideal candidate will possess expertise in SAP PS module, as well as a functional background in Earned Value. A thorough understanding of financial operating processes and their interaction with other SAP modules such as the Sales & Distribution (SD), Finance (FI), and Controlling (CO) modules, is essential.

• Role is Focused on End User Support.

What you will do:

• As an Individual Contributor, provide direct support to Business Analyst End User Base, responding to emails and direct inquiries, providing trouble shooting and solutions to end user issues.

• Support APEX SAP Managed Program (MP) CORE Team.

• Principal focus on Earned Value (EV) support, including direct end user issue support, Secondary involvement with Project System (PS) SAP System configuration and reporting support.

• Provide expertise and delivery for the MP and EV functional life cycle phases. This team supports the delivery of high-quality application services primarily to United States Users.

• Opportunity to comfortably take on challenges in unfamiliar areas, work independently, and has excellent communications skills.

• Apply SAP PS configuration, along with a thorough understanding of the Managed Programs processes, especially project structure and how the processes interact across other SAP modules such as Timekeeping, Project Systems, Controlling and Finance, and Billing.

• Work with a multi-disciplined User base to support APEX SAP system change requirements, develop functional specifications, support project execution, and resolve defects.

• Act in a functional capacity with the expectation that individual will be supporting Managed Programs and Earned Value (EV) business processes across multiple SAP user groups and must ensure solutions meet internal User needs and Service Level Agreements.

• Deliver hands-on day to day SAP production support.

• Travel up to 5%+.

Qualifications You Must Have:

• Minimum of 8+ years’ experience in SAP Project Systems / Earned Value (EV) module and a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) or Finance or related discipline or equivalent combination of related work experience and schooling in lieu of degree.

• APEX/PRISM experience as a business analyst using project systems functionality.

• Demonstrated knowledge of the Earned Value (EV) process and relevant APEX Tool Suite.

• Experience with the IT life cycle: Requirements/Analysis, Design, Specification, Code/Configuration, Development Testing, Change Management, Sustain, and Optimize.Demonstrated solutions design expertise in Project Systems and Earned Value (EV) areas including:

  • Ability to translate business needs and problems into viable/accepted solutions

  • Solid analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Critical thinker, coupled with strong interpersonal and communication skills, adding energetic input within a team environment

  • Detail oriented with the ability to appropriately balance priorities, deadlines, and deliverables

  • Potential to assume responsibility for ad-hoc projects that may require manpower resources during critical times

Qualifications We Prefer:

• Aerospace & Defense Industry Earned Value (EV) experience

• Familiarity with Agile or SAFe Methodology framework

• Functional experience across HR, Project Systems, Controlling, and/or Finance modules

• Fluent with Microsoft Tool Suite

• Ability to travel 5%+

The salary range for this role is 107,500 USD - 204,500 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
