Position Summary
Join Walmart as Senior Director, Sourcing – Food Supplier Development (Import Program Execution) and lead the global execution engine for our import supplier network. About the Food Supplier Development Team
Our team is responsible for supplier development, import program governance, and capacity readiness for Food categories. We partner with Merchants, Global Sourcing, Private Brands, and Supply Chain to ensure import suppliers are operationally prepared and consistently executing against business objectives. Your leadership will directly impact Walmart’s ability to deliver quality food products to customers worldwide.

What you’ll do:

• Lead end-to-end import supplier program execution for Food categories
• Establish governance, milestones, and accountability for import programs
• Drive risk identification and mitigation across global supply chains
• Oversee supplier qualification, onboarding, and execution ramp-up
• Build and lead a high-performing, globally distributed team

What you’ll bring:

• Experience in supplier development, import program execution, or global sourcing
• Proven ability to drive operational rigor and supplier capability uplift
• Strong leadership skills with experience managing global teams
• Expertise in risk mitigation, supply chain management, and innovation enablement
