The System Engineer Risk Manager is responsible for risk management activities in the product development lifecycle.  Works cross-functionally to ensure the safety of our life saving products. Core Responsibilities

  • Leads cross functional team in risk related discussions, spanning from new products risks and factory issues to assistance with complaint and defect investigations.
  • Generates the risk management plan.
  • Estimates risks and evaluates risk control options.
  • Evaluates overall residual risk.
  • Records the results of the risk management activities.
  • Ensures all activities specified in the risk management plan have been appropriately implemented.
  • Makes the final determination, with clinical and cross functional teams, that the overall residual risk is acceptable in relation to the benefits of the intended use.
  • Evaluates post market information that may affect the device’s risk.

Required Experience

  • 5+ year experience in systems Engineering
  • Prior risk management experience for medical devices is preferred.
  • Effective written and verbal communication, including technical writing skills.
  • Effective presentation skills.
  • Experience with SAP, ClearQuest, JAMA and EtQ is preferred.
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel and Power BI is preferred.

The base pay range for this position is

Min $91,300 - Max $159,800

The pay wage range shown is based on the job posting's primary location. Actual compensation packages are based on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to skill set, experience, certifications, and location.
