As a Sales Specialist, you will receive sales coaching and instruction while working in a hands-on environment that will expand your skills. The successful candidate will play an impactful role in the team by helping to build our business across the Greater China region. In this role you will help manage a book of customers in Hong Kong, support the country manager for China, and identify new opportunities across the Greater China region. You will interact directly with prospects and customers and help build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

What You Will Do
This Sales Specialist role is ideal for a driven commercial professional who excels in client engagement, building trusted relationships, and delivering compelling presentations that resonate with prospects and customers. You will manage a portfolio of accounts while proactively developing new business across the region, balancing both relationship management and pipeline generation.
You will independently identify opportunities through market engagement, networking, prospecting, and follow‑ups, ensuring a strong and sustainable pipeline that supports growth targets. Alongside new logo acquisition, you will deepen relationships within existing accounts, uncovering new needs and expanding our footprint with current clients.
In this role, you will collaborate closely with Sales Executives across Asia Pacific, ensuring seamless execution of the sales cycle and contributing to activities such as customer proposals, sales information management, and product knowledge sharing. With APAC serving as a priority growth region, this position will be highly visible and will require strong cross‑functional collaboration with a broad network of internal stakeholders.
Your insights and feedback will help inform market strategies and improve how we support customers. You can expect an autonomous, fast‑paced environment where results are recognized, and your ability to drive commercial outcomes truly makes an impact. You will also work closely with global teams and directly engage with our diverse international client base, offering opportunities for continuous learning and professional growth.
Some of the responsibilities in the role include (but are not limited to):
Manages a book of client relationships in Hong Kong
Generates new business
Develops opportunities using outbound emails, calls, and by following up on leads
Supports Country Manager for China in identifying key areas of opportunities in the market
Develops a good understanding of financial markets across APAC, including how trends and regulation are shaping the trading environment
Assist in internal and external presentations
Work with existing and potential clients to prevent unauthorized distribution of Nasdaq data
Ensure a smooth customer onboarding process
Review data requests from customers applying for new data licenses
Review and monitor clients’ monthly market data usages and ensure reporting is submitted timely
Answering prospect questions and sending additional information by email
Proactively taking on new initiatives and exhibiting a curiosity for learning
What We Expect
2-3 years experience within a sales environment, ideally within the financial sector but other sectors considered
Ability to call/engage with a potential client and understand their needs
Great presentation and pitching skills
At least a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Sales, Business, Finance, Economics or related field
Excellent command of Cantonese, Mandarin & English
Superb interpersonal skills
Ability to be organised and decisive while under pressure
Great Teammate - able to interface/liaison effectively with a variety of technical/non-technical contributors throughout the organization
Display a logical approach, critical thinking and analytical problem-solving skills
Experience with Microsoft Office including Excel and PowerPoint

Experience with Power BI/ Tableau
Knowledge of the financial industry
