Our Manager, LH Site Acquisition and Permitting reports to the Director of LH Facility Deployment and is responsible for leading a team of project managers overseeing the end-to-end site acquisition, due diligence, design coordination, and permitting for ILA (Intermediate Line Amplifier) facilities. This role ensures sites are secured, vetted, and fully permitted in alignment with program timelines, budgets, and standards. 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Lead and manage a team of site acquisition and permitting project managers 

  • Own acquisition and permitting standards, processes, and documentation 

  • Drive weekly and monthly program readouts, reporting on KPIs/KGPs, budget, and schedule performance 

  • Manage program budgets, forecasting, and schedule adherence 

  • Oversee vendor management including onboarding, performance tracking, and issue resolution 

  • Ensure contract compliance and enforcement with all vendors and partners 

Site Acquisition 

  • Identify and secure sites for ILA deployment (purchases and lease agreements) 

  • Lead negotiations for land purchases and leases, including commercial terms and conditions 

  • Prepare executive deal summaries and facilitate internal approvals 

  • Coordinate preparation, review, and execution of acquisition documents 

Due Diligence & Design Coordination 

  • Oversee site due diligence activities including title, survey, zoning, environmental, and utility feasibility 

  • Coordinate with engineering and construction teams on site layout and constructability

  • Ensure site designs meet company standards and jurisdictional requirements 

Permitting 

  • Lead permitting strategy and execution across local, state, and federal jurisdictions

  • Manage submission, tracking, and approval of all required permits for construction 

  • Coordinate with agencies, jurisdictions, and stakeholders to resolve comments and expedite approvals 

  • Maintain permitting schedules and risk logs 

Qualifications 

  • Real Estate License, Bachelor’s degree, Engineering, Construction Management, Planning, or related field (or equivalent experience) 

  • Minimum of seven (7) years of experience in site acquisition, real estate, permitting, or infrastructure deployment 

  • Minimum of three (3) years of leadership experience managing teams 

  • Experience negotiating land purchases and leases 

  • Strong understanding of zoning, land use, and permitting processes 

  • Environmental permitting experience is a plus 

  • Experience managing multi-site deployment programs

Estimated base salary range: $84,900 - $130,600 USD/annually.

The base pay range shown is a guideline and reasonable estimate for this role. It takes into account the wide variety of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions. Actual compensation offered may vary from the posted range based upon geographic location, work experience, skill level, certifications, and other business and organizational needs. Non- sales roles may be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive plan. Sales roles may be eligible to participate in a sales incentive plan.
