The Opportunity

Based in Colorado (or able to relocate) and working at the Loveland HQ 3 days a week, the VP, Chief Information Officer will lead the enterprise-wide IT systems and technology strategy across Enterprise Architecture, Information Security, Infrastructure, and Systems Development. Reporting to Hach's President and serving on the Executive Leadership Team, the CIO will employ the organization's technological capabilities, speed, and customer service to outperform competitors while evolving cutting-edge digital strategy.
 

This role requires extensive IT leadership in complex organizations, large-program ERP delivery experience (ideally Cloud oriented), and the ability to consolidate and enhance the current IT landscape across multiple legacy acquisition entities. You'll lead a team of 80+ IT professionals while driving innovation that generates revenue and competitive advantage.
 

The jobholder will make a significant impact within Hach and potentially across the expanding Veralto organization, where ongoing major investment in systems, cloud, digital, and AI—combined with planned M&A activities—provides exceptional future leadership opportunities.
 

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the IT strategy, roadmap, and priorities that support Hach's business goals, drive innovation, and generate increased revenues
  • Lead execution of enterprise initiatives including ERP, CRM, BI, and Infrastructure in partnership with Corporate IT and business leadership
  • Build and develop a high-performing team of 80+ IT professionals through coaching, mentoring, and fostering engagement
  • Establish productive relationships with executive stakeholders to influence adoption of modern IT capabilities and ensure alignment with business objectives
  • Ensure cyber-security capabilities and SOX/PCI compliance meet organizational standards and Veralto IT requirements
  • Leverage emerging technologies (Process Mining, RPA, AI) to drive process improvements and cost reduction
  • Deploy governance models that enable IT to meet organizational priorities in an agile manner
  • Manage vendor relationships and negotiate effective contracts for software, services, and tools; develop annual budgets
  • Champion continuous improvement through the Veralto Enterprise System (VES)
     

Education, Background and Skill Requirements

  • 10+ years overseeing multiple IT functions (ERP, ERM, BI, CRM, Infrastructure, IT Services) in fast-paced, global multi-site organizations, ideally in industrial, manufacturing, or distribution settings
  • Must have demonstrated large-program ERP delivery leadership; Oracle Fusion or similar cloud-based modern ERP platform experience strongly preferred
  • Proven track record delivering enterprise solutions and automation with deep understanding of Enterprise Systems, Business Intelligence, Cloud Computing, and Digital IT strategy
  • Excellent strategic planning, change management, and execution skills with experience driving IT as an enabler of strategic initiatives
  • Experience with IT M&A integrations in large divisions or companies
  • Superior interpersonal and communication skills with ability to influence executive stakeholders
  • Existing US resident based in Colorado (or willing to relocate with our support), allowing hybrid working at our Loveland HQ, plus international travel (40-50% during peak periods)
  • BA or BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business Administration; MS or MBA preferred or equivalent experience

The below range reflects the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. An associate’s position within the salary range will be based on several factors, including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs.

The compensation range for this role is $275,000.00 - $400,000.00 USD per year. This job is also eligible for Incentive Pay.
