We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented college graduate to join our Infrastructure and Cloud services team. This entry-level role focuses on evaluating infrastructure-related risks and controls (e.g., IT systems, networks, cloud services, and supporting operational technology) and partnering with stakeholders to identify opportunities for process improvement. You will help plan and execute audits, document results, and support remediation and continuous improvement initiatives.

What will be my duties and responsibilities in this job?

  • Support risk-based audit planning by helping gather background information, understand processes and infrastructure, and identify key risks and controls
  • Assist with executing internal audits and advisory reviews across infrastructure domains (e.g., identity and access management, change management, incident management, backups and recovery, network security, configuration management, asset management)
  • Interview process owners and technical teams to understand workflows, system configurations, and control design
  • Perform walkthroughs, control testing, and data analysis to evaluate whether controls are designed and operating effectively
  • Document work is performed in clear, organized workpapers that support conclusions and meet internal audit standards
  • Identify process inefficiencies, control gaps, and root causes; collaborate with stakeholders to develop practical, value-added recommendations
  • Support process improvement initiatives (e.g., standardizing procedures, clarifying roles and handoffs, improving control automation, strengthening documentation and evidence collection)
  • Draft clear audit observations and contribute to reporting, including summarizing risks, impact, and recommended remediation actions
  • Track remediation actions and assist with validation testing to confirm issues are resolved
  • Participate in continuous improvement of the audit methodology, templates, analytics, and knowledge base

What are the requirements needed for this position? 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Analytics, or a related field
  • Strong interest in internal audit, risk management, infrastructure controls, and process improvement
  • Ability to analyze processes and data, identify patterns, and communicate findings clearly
  • Strong written communication skills
  • Comfort working with cross-functional teams, including technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); ability to learn new tools quickly
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks while meeting deadlines
  • Integrity, professionalism, and ability to handle sensitive information with discretion

What other skills/experience would be helpful to have?

  • Internship, co-op, or project experience in audit, cybersecurity, IT operations, infrastructure, compliance, or process improvement
  • Familiarity with common control frameworks or concepts (e.g., COSO, COBIT, ITIL, NIST)
  • Experience with data analysis tools (e.g., advanced Excel, Power BI, SQL, Python) or audit analytics
  • Coursework or exposure to cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS), networking, identity management, or information security fundamentals
  • Interest in pursuing a relevant credential (e.g., CIA, CISA)

Work Environment & Other Requirements

  • Remote and Onsite work may be required depending on business needs
  • Occasional travel may be required to visit sites or support audit activities
  • This role may require extended screen time and the ability to review technical documentation and evidence

Pay Range:

$23.66 - $39.06

Any posted pay range considers a wide range of compensation factors, including candidate background, experience and work location, while also allowing for salary growth within the position.
