The SVP, Sales & Advisory Business Execution Senior Lead Analyst is a strategic leader in the Asia South Investment Advisory Team. Excellent communication skills required in order to negotiate internally, often at a senior level. Developed communication and diplomacy skills are required in order to guide, influence and convince others, in particular colleagues in other areas and occasional external customers. Accountable for significant direct business results or authoritative advice regarding the operations of the business. Necessitates a degree of responsibility over technical strategy. Responsible for handling staff management issues, including resource management and allocation of work within the team/project.



Responsibilities:

  • The position requires a candidate with general management skills, leadership abilities and administrative experience, who can manage and lead a variety of activities geared at helping manage a global organization with resources and providing data & analytics solutions to all regions and lines of businesses. This includes building ties with other business teams. The individual will be strategic leader in the Investment Sales & Adviory Team working with various Team Heads across Bankers and Investment Counselors.
  • Partner directly with various internal stakeholders to analyze data and evaluate multiple sources to develop recommendations on high-priority strategic initiatives.
  • Help to manage executable strategies, partnering across the organization
  • Establish best practices and principles for the Asia South CG/CPC Sales Teams and Investment Advisory Team
  • Communication - Work with the team and respective leaders on the communication strategy (e.g. town halls, new hire events) for the department and facilitate the development of communication materials and presentations for senior management, including C-level management, the Board of Directors, Operating Committee and other key stakeholders as required
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
  • Management of specific investment advisory artifacts with inputs from various internal partners. Work with key control stakeholders and other internal partners to streamline investment sales & advisory process. Deliverables include elevating internal client (Bankers and Investment Counselors) and external client experience related to investment sales & advisory process.
  • Work with key control stakeholders and other internal partners to effectively manage risks in the investment sales & advisory process through systemic controls and where systemic controls are not viable, through effective operational controls.
  • Foster and maintain relationships with business stakeholders, support, testing and development team members
  • Identify key project risks, whether stated or not, and manage to resolution or escalate accordingly

  • Qualifications:
  • 10+ years experience in global and complex settings with multiple stake holders. Relevant experience in investment products, and investment sales & advisory processes
  • Required skills include project management, quantitative aptitude, and the ability to effectively synthesize and communicate complex business issues through concise presentation skills.
  • Good interpersonal skills to oversee cross disciplinary work streams.
  • Extensive project management and strategic analysis experience.
  • Must be extremely organized, motivated and a self-starter
  • Ability to prioritise is key as is ability to juggle several tasks at once.
  • Must work well under pressure whilst, enthusiastic, hard-working and positive
  • Desire to improve processes
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills and ability to facilitate discussions
  • Ability to quickly grasp and master new concepts / requirements and related product / functional knowledge
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage tight deadlines
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills

Education:

  • Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience, Masters degree preferred
