We are seeking a dedicated and skilled SAP Basis Engineer to join our team.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining main frame systems, ensuring operational efficiency, and providing technical support to ensure seamless system performance for internal and external
stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
• Manage and optimize SAP systems (ECC, S/4HANA, BW, Solution Manager)for high availability and performance.
• Perform advanced administration tasks such as kernel upgrades, performance tuning, and transport management.
• Troubleshoot complex SAP Basis issues and provide root cause analysis.
• Lead system upgrades, migrations, and disaster recovery planning.
• Develop and maintain detailed documentation for processes and configurations.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance.
• Ensure compliance with organizational policies and SAP standards or best practices.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree.
• 1 - 5+ years of experience in SAP Basis or IT infrastructure support.
• SAP Certified Technology Associate or equivalent certification (advantage).
• Deep understanding of SAP architecture and operating systems (Linux/Windows).
• Strong communication in Japanese at least certified with JLPT Level 2/N2 or BJT J3 (advantage)

Skills and Experience:
• Expertise in SAP Basis components and tools.
• Strong knowledge of HANA database administration and OS-level troubleshooting.
• Experience with performance tuning, system monitoring, and automation tools.
• Excellent problem-solving and leadership skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage critical incidents.
• Willingness to work on a 12 hours shift working or on-call rotation in Petaling Jaya office. Overtime may be required due business requirements.
